A good friend of mine is incredibly creative and talented when it comes to all things stylish and trendy. I keep telling her she could have a second career in interior design. She hosted an Ugly Sweater party last holiday season and had the MOST adorable holiday cocktail - what she called Merry & Bright Ornamentini.
This is such a delicious and adorable cocktail with the star of the show being the edible glitter. It uses:
Vodka
Cranberry Juice
Pomegranate Juice
Lime
Edible Glitter
Fresh Rosemary sprig
This holiday cocktail is perfect for a bookclub, holiday party, or just a fun and festive evening with friends!
Recipe:
In a cocktail shaker, mix:
1 cup Cranberry Juice
1/4 cup Pomegranate Juice
1 cup Vodka
1/4 Lime Juice (best if fresh squeezed)
1 tsp Edible Glitter
In your glass, place frozen or sugared cranberries, ice, and a sprig of fresh rosemary. Pour the mixture into the ornament using a funnel. When ready to serve, pour the contents of the ornament into the glass and serve!
