With summer comes all sorts of time baking my skin in the sun, minimal make-up, air-dryed hair and a scant amount of time dedicated to my beauty routine. But I’m officially ready to turn in the bathing suits and shorts for cozy sweaters and jeans. Which means it’s time to up my game in the beauty department. Fall becomes full of routine with back-to-school, sports schedules and meal prepping. And every September, I find myself ready to start wearing more make-up and buying that extra moisturizing lotion to prep my skin for winter. These are my new (and some old) go-to essentials when it comes to my skin, hair and general well-being for Fall 2024. A few of these recommendations came from a good friend of mine that I consider my ultimate beauty guru. She always looks flawless and keeps me abreast of the latest and greatest. Everyone should be so lucky to have such a friend. :)
Ah-maze-ing. In and out of the pool, ocean, lakes and sun all summer? This hair mask is a dream. It helps reverse any damage from our summer fun. My hair is silky soft after using this product.

Time to switch up foundation- moving away from a dewy summer tinted moisturizer to something more matte. This is a great everyday foundation/concealer.
This handheld massage roller helps to drain and depuff, boosts circulation and soothes inflammation. I do notice a difference in a decrease of puffiness in my face when I use this. Buy on Amazon: Love Wellness Bye Bye Bloat Lymphatic Massage Roller
I love this blush! It gives such a beautiful glow to your cheeks for that natural sun-kissed look without looking heavy or “too much”. A little goes a long way so it’s worth it.
My beauty guru said that she is obsessed with this and uses it religiously. It’s great to smooth out a sagging or crepey neck and chest after all those summer rays. Just bought it per her recommendation and it's a great price point!
My splurge on the list. I typically air dry my hair in the summer as I have wavy hair and it's more of a beachy look. I treated myself to this for a more polished look this fall and holy cow, it’s worth every penny! I have pretty thick hair and it dries it quickly and without frizz. I love the fact it can dry and style all in one.
All bets are out the window when it comes to eating in the summer. Ice cream? Chips? BBQ? Yes, please! Fall is a time to reset my health and nutrition and this is the best protein powder I've had in a long time. It's a bit of a splurge but it's all organic and full of superfoods.
A bit of a splurge, but it’s a gorgeous fall color and the perfect no-stick gloss. My beauty expert friend said it's her favorite!
Another great blush, I keep this one in my purse for touch-ups when I’m not at home. This is the only Westman Atelier product I’ve tried so far but if the rest are as good as this - considered me sold.
Admittedly, someone told me they read that this is what Jennifer Aniston wears, so naturally, I ordered it. This smells amazing! I love to switch up my scents with the seasons and this is a very fresh yet seductive scent with notes of jasmine, gardenia, tuberose and grapefruit.
These beautiful rich colors are perfect for autumn. With satin, matte and metallic to chose from, you can’t go wrong. Added bonus: Ilia is an award-winning line of clean beauty.
Can’t get to your local aesthetician for a derma plane facial? Grab these for a quick way to rid your face of pesky hair and sloth off those summer dead skin cells.
Another great record from my friend: She said her sister (another beauty!) recommended this product to her a couple of years ago. It’s perfect for holding onto that summer glow. She adds a few drops to her moisturizer a couple of times a week, and it helps to stave off all that dreaded pale and dull-looking skin.
Bought this back in the 90’s and buying it again now! Loving this sublte color for fall and you can’t beat a classic like this.
