Summer is not exactly my favorite season. There, I said it. I know that may be a highly unpopular opinion but I speak my truth. How can summer not be my favorite? Admittedly, I don't tolerate heat very well, I'm not a fan of being sweaty and I am more into cozy vibes than beach life. With that being said, I still love so much about the season of sun. Fireflies, lazy days on the water, reading in the sun, an ice cream cone dripping down your wrist, margaritas by the pool. Okay - maybe I actually like it more than I think ;) What else do I like? Amazon, of course. They have so many things to make the summer fun!! All of these finds make those summer days even better (and who doesn't love when the Amazon box hits your doorstep??).
I love this little powerhouse! Lately, I've been taking it to the pool, and where I really love it, bringing it along to the golf course to play my latest favorites while hacking away at the ball. It's waterproof and has 10 hours of play time, so it's good for a full day out at the beach or park.

I have been seeing these teardrop earrings everywhere! Baublebar, Anthropologie, and Nordstrom all have a version but the ones from Amazon are only $12! They are so cute paired with everything from your beach cover-up to a night out on the town. I got them in both gold and rose gold and wear them all the time.

If you have kids, this is a must! I keep this in my beach bag at all times. This Uno game is waterproof and super durable so it can't get ruined by a little water or sand.

This badboy has a headrest, footrest, and cup holder. I love using this in the lake. I have an irrational fear of being bitten by fish and this is the perfect solution because I can float and stay cool in the water without any little minnows having easy access to my toes.

Yah, yah, yah.... I joined the Stanley bandwagon. But this is worth every penny! This one has a straw with a leak resistant flip which is great because it doesn't matter if it tips over if you set it in the sand or a tipsy beach chair. It holds 30z and keeps your beverage cold for a VERY long time.

I like these for a few reasons. I wear them under sundresses so I don't need to worry about the wind kicking up and exposing all my bits and bobs. But i also like them for my morning walks under an oversized t-shirt. They are incredibly comfortable and the high waist sucks everything in.

I don't know if it's been as blistering hot in your neck of the woods as it's been here in Michigan, but this little fan saved my fanny (see what I did there?) at the zoo last week. Hot pavement all day with no breeze? I don't know how i would have made it without this fan. It runs up to 19 hours on a single charge and as an added bonus has a flashlight! This will be coming with me to a concert I'm going to next week.

Where have these been my whole life? This could have saved me from burning countless times. But at least I have them now! Stick this little guy to you or your child's arm and this UV detection sticker starts out clear and turns a color when it's time to reapply sunscreen. My son constantly fights me when I try to get him to reapply sunscreen and insists he doesn't need it...but this sticker proves to him that it's time!

This little romper is so stinking cute and beyond comfortable. It has wider legs so it's easy breezy and the best part is it has pockets! I like to wear mine with a tank top underneaath for a bit of extra coverage.

I am constantly losing or breaking my sunglasses, so I quit spending a lot of money on them long ago. I love these polarized sunglasses! They are lightweight and have UV protection. The best part is you can get a 3-pack for $22. There are a lot of different color combintations to chose from and look great on both men and women.

As a mom, I feel like I'm constantly toting around random snacks all summer. They used to just free float in my beach bag until I found this cute little snack bag. It's water resistant, lightweight and they have versions that say things like Beach, Travel and Stuff. I use the one that says Stuff to keep my various sunscreens and lip balms nice and organized. Everytime I bring them out, I've got people asking me where I got them! So cute.

Mosquito's love me. I must be extra juicy or something. The other night we went to our town's Concert in the Park and I came home covered in mosquito bites. I ordered them in an effort not to be miserable at the next concert. They work pretty well! I wore them on my ankles like a total nerd but this nerd didn't get any bug bites! They come 10 in a pack for $10 and are DEET-free.

So this may redeem my nerd mosquito bracelet status. This lip balm seems to be all the rage right now and after I got some, I realize why. With a hint of vanilla smell, it's super buttery and conditions your lips like no other. It's a bit pricey as far as lip blams go ($24) but I think it's definitely worth the money.

There are a ton of cute Panama Sun Hats out there but I love this one for a couple of reasons. First, I have a very large noggin and it's hard to find hats that fit. This Panama Hat has a little rope on the inside so you can adjust it to the perfect size and comes in S/M or L/XL. Secondly, it's foldable and packable so you can throw it into your bag and go (and makes for easy packing in a suitcase). Lastly, it comes in over 20 colors. I have it in Khaki and just ordered red for the 4th of July.
