There's really nothing like the summer months. We wait all year to feel the warm sun on our faces, watermelon juice dripping down our kids chins, running through sprinklers and laying in a hammock doing nothing but staring at the sun coming through the trees above us. Here are some of my favorite summer quotes to celebrate one of our favorite seasons.

"Summer was our best season: it was sleeping on the back screened porch in cots, or trying to sleep in the tree house; summer was everything good to eat; it was a thousand colors in a parched landscape..."― Harper Lee
"I wonder what it would be like to live in a world where it was always June."― L.M. Montgomery
“Bees do have a smell, you know, and if they don't they should, for their feet are dusted with spices from a million flowers.” ― Ray Bradbury
