Weekend Magic: Late September

coffee cup with leaves for an amazing fall weekend

Weekend Magic at the end of September: I’m excited to finish the last of the Halloween decorating - mainly outside our house. I've been looking up fall porch ideas, and my head is swirling around what I want to do. Should I go classic/elegant? Or more "frightfully fun" to please the kids. Time shall tell.

We have piano lessons on Friday night, and I plan on making this Chicken and Dumplings recipe for dinner. Saturday is chock-full of play dates and the MSU v. Ohio State football game - a big deal around these parts! Sunday brings sleeping in, our local food festival, and our 12th wedding anniversary. Here are a few links guiding my weekend fun. Go be fabulous, everyone!

Fall Weekend Fun full of pancakes and apple orchards

After our son goes to bed on Friday, we plan on starting the new show Nobody Wants This (Netflix). It details the struggles and discoveries of falling in love with someone from different religious beliefs and backgrounds.

I've been a Birkenstock fan since, well, the 90's. For fall, I'm debating between getting the Birkenstock Chunky Boston Clog or the Ugg Goldenstar Clog.

I bought a bunch of supplies to start making clay polymer earrings inspired by Paper & Stitch.

I just purchased this milk frother to whip up my own oat milk pumpkin spice lattes.

The Cut has a great article about How to Style Mary Jane Flats. It's something I've been thinking about ever since posting about my favorite ballet flats this season.

This Cottages & Bungalows article includes gorgeous fall floral arrangements for your next autumnal tablescape.

Pinching myself with excitement about the new music from The Cure

Someday, I want to get to Salem, MA (obvi). Outside of the books on my fall reading list, I feel compelled to pick a couple from the Town & Country 30 Best Books About Witches.

My husband and I don't usually exchange anniversary gifts; if we do, it's a vacation or experience. But for gift-givers also celebrating 12 years of love, laughter, and annoyance at your partner's loud chewing, I found a good gift guide. FYI: The traditional 12th-anniversary gift is silk and pearls. Seeeeeeexxxy.

Go make the weekend your masterpiece!
