After writing a post about the tween boys (as I have several in my life), I wanted to give a little love to the girls. And let’s be honest – shopping for girls is sometimes a bit more fun than footballs, video games and skateboards. My 16-year old niece is my go-to expert on all things teen girls. She seems to be the ultimate cool-girl that I always wanted to be when I was teen, but somehow I never quite hit the mark.
She uses an app called Giftful, where she’s able to store her entire wishlist for the holidays and her birthday. It’s beyond convenient as they just upload the links to what they want, you can “claim” the gift so you’re sure no one else gets it and then it leads you directly to the site to buy it. For anyone with teens in your life – I’d recommend this app as it makes shopping so much easier. Fun fact: teens are being more budget-conscious in 2025. Teen spending reports show a downward shift (those teens are being a bit more discerning when actually going out and spending their cash!), which means gifts that feel luxe and smart will be even more special for you to give. But for those of you who need ideas for teen girls, I’ve got you covered!
Choosing a Teen Girl Gift: What I Look For
When I curate for teens, I judge ideas against a few key pillars:
Trend-forward + timeless balance — it should feel current but not so ephemeral you’ll regret it in 6 months
Functionality inside the “cool shell” — a speaker that also looks like art, a journal that makes writing feel special
Personal touch potential — initials, custom colors, meaningful choices
Adaptability — something that ages with her (i.e. not too childish)
Budget flexibility — gifts across tiers so everyone can find something right

Lululemon Align High Rise Leggings
Ofcouse, Lululemon. What is being a teen girl without Lululemon? I see these Align High Rise Leggings on all the ladies (adults, included).
I have to admit, I have a pair of these myself. They are super comfortable and are sure to be a hit for any gal receiving these. Note – I do find these run slightly large so make sure your favorite teen knows their exact size for these sneakers.
I’ve heard that this lip balm has an almost cult-like following. Every teen girl I know has this in her bag. I have to admit – I just ordered some for myself to see what all the hype is about.
Gone are the days of buying Loves Baby Soft from the drugstore or the coveted Anais Anais (IYKYK) and the hot perfume for teens are Ariana Grande and Kylie Jenner’s scents.
I know a lot of the girls are into the romance series, but if you’re looking for an alternate to romance and love stories to gift to your teen, this is a really fun series.
Those little teen hibernators like to be as comfy as possible. She can curl up with A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder underneath this super soft and warm Sherpa Fleece Throw Blanket.
Man, these seem to be on EVERYONE’S list… tween boys, teen girls – all the kids are wearing these so I have to imagine it would be a hit with anyone aged 8 – 21.
I’ve seen a couple of teen girls around town with this quilted tote. I assume they use it as an alternate to a backback for school, but this would also be great for their sleepovers or travel sports.
I know when my niece wanted these last year, they were sold out everywhere. So if this is on your teen’s list, I’d recommend buying while they are still in stock.
If you’ve got a teen, you likely know they like to hibernate in their rooms. This mini fridge holds six cans of her favorite beverage or can be used for skincare. Win/Win!
Pretty sure a VERY famous singer recently wore these to a (a-hem) football game and they have since skyrocketed in popularity. Super cute this adds a glittery pop to faces which would be fun for concerts, dances or Friday Night Lights.
For all the beauty girls (sorry, I feel like I’ve aged out of saying “girlies”), Rare Beauty anything is a major hit. The blush, which I linked above, is also a great option if you’d like to give more than one item.
Everything seems oversized for the teens! Baggy jeans, oversized sweatshirts topped off with anything Nike or Ugg. This sweatshirt is cute with the off-shoulder look.
I have one of these myself, and they are a lifesaver. Given how much time teens spend on their devices, this is a good practical gift. While it may not be the most exciting, they will definitely appreciate it. My niece even has this on her wish list.
Enewton is an extremely popular brand that is known for their gold beaded bracelets. However, they come with a price tag that may be a bit much for the average teen. I found these Enewton inspired bracelets and they are a fraction of the cost. Her friends will never know it’s not the real deal!
