If the whole “Send me your Holiday/Christmas/Hanukkah/Seasonal gift list” doesn’t make you go into a panic, then I’m guessing you are definitely too young to be reading this post. (kidding, kind-of). Every year, when my MIL, parents or husband ask what I’d like for Christmas, it sends me into a full-on panic. I know I want or need things. I know I take 18 million screengrabs of whatever the algorithm serves me that convinces me I HAVE to have something. But when December rolls around, it’s like my mind goes blank. I don’t know. Shoes? Always good. Make-up? Yes, but do I want my husband to purchase that when I know it’s something I’d buy myself anyway? Clothes – great, but normally end up taking 1/2 back because they don’t fit properly or it’s not something I’d normally wear. Scarves/Gloves/Winterwear – lovely, but always feels a bit disappointing. I find myself scrolling and adding random things to my list to just get it out the door and give it to someone. But when I open I always think – Did I ask for that or did my mother-in-law go rogue? Well, here are some fantastic everyday practical (well, not all are “practical”), useful and pretty amazing ideas that will have you using and thinking – how did I ever live without this?
