Gorjana Jewelry Dupes: Budget Friendly Lookalikes

To know Gorjana jewelry is to love it.

I had seen the name pop up here and there over the years but never really paused to explore the brand. That changed when a friend was celebrating a milestone birthday and someone suggested we all go in on a Gorjana charm necklace. I started browsing the site and immediately understood the appeal. It’s delicate, personal, and elevated without feeling overly trendy.

I shop at BaubleBar fairly often, but Gorjana felt like a step up in refinement. The pieces are still approachable, but the design leans more timeless than playful. Think subtle layering chains, meaningful charms, and rings that feel modern but not flashy.

I’m especially drawn to jewelry that tells a story. Gorjana does this beautifully, whether through birthstone pieces, charm necklaces, or monogrammed signet rings. I have a soft spot for evil eye jewelry and wear it as a protective talisman to ward off negativity. I purchased their dainty evil eye necklace along with the chunkier coordinating evil eye ring (sorry I can’t link it as it’s currently sold out), and both have become regular staples in my everyday stack. I also splurged on the Vintage Burst Coin ring, which adds just enough statement without overpowering everything else.

While Gorjana isn’t break-the-bank expensive, it’s not impulse-buy territory either. A $15 pair of earrings? I’ll toss those in my cart without much thought. But when jewelry starts creeping past $50 or $100, I slow down. I consider cost per wear, versatility, and whether it’s something I’ll still love next year. I recently posted about enewton dupes for the same reason. I love enewton, but when I’m building a bracelet stack, $50 – $75 per bracelet tends to add up!

And that’s exactly why I started looking into Gorjana-inspired alternatives. Because sometimes you want the aesthetic without committing to the higher price point, especially when layering multiple pieces.

Gorjana Dupe Necklaces
Two of my budget-friendly necklaces with that same Gorjana-inspired design.

Gorjana is known for:

  • 18k gold plated finishes
  • Layer-friendly chain lengths
  • Personalized charm options
  • Minimalist, California-inspired design
  • Everyday wearability

Gorjana Alternatives and Dupes

When I went looking for Gorjana-inspired alternatives, I wasn’t just searching for the cheapest version I could find. I wanted pieces that captured the same delicate, layerable aesthetic while still feeling wearable and polished.

Here’s what I specifically looked for:

Similar Scale and Proportions
One of the things Gorjana does so well is balance. Their chains are never too chunky or too thin. The charms are subtle, not oversized. I compared chain thickness, pendant size, and overall proportions to make sure the alternatives felt refined, not costume-y.

Gold Tone That Isn’t Brassy
Not all gold plating is created equal. I avoided pieces that looked overly yellow or cheap in real-life customer photos. I focused on warmer, softer gold finishes that mirror Gorjana’s understated look.

Strong Reviews About Tarnishing
Affordable jewelry can be tricky. I prioritized pieces with consistent reviews mentioning long-term wear, minimal tarnishing, and durable clasps. If multiple reviewers mentioned fading or discoloration, it didn’t make the list.

Material Transparency
Whenever possible, I looked for stainless steel bases, thicker gold plating, or gold-filled options rather than vague “gold tone” descriptions. Even at a lower price point, material details matter.

Layering Versatility
Gorjana pieces are meant to be layered. So I only included lookalike necklaces and rings that could realistically mix into an everyday stack without overpowering everything else.

Price-to-Quality Balance
A dupe should feel like a smart swap, not a throwaway purchase. I skipped pieces that were so inexpensive they felt disposable. The goal is affordable, not flimsy.

Please note: these alternatives are not affiliated with or produced by Gorjana. They simply offer a similar aesthetic at a lower price point. I don’t always get it right (I’ve returned a few dupes I thought met all my criteria – you can’t win ’em all!) but I hope you fine something that fits into your budget and still gives you that same cool vibe of the real deal.
