I golf, sure. Do I golf well? Erm…. no. But I do love to get out there and give it my best. In the early !990s, my grandparents took my brother and me golfing fairly regularly during the summer months. My favorite parts about golfing with them? The gumdrops my grandma kept in her golf bag, poking my brother in the leg with golf tees and the chips and hot dogs we got in the clubhouse after our round was over. If that tells you my level of focus and dedication – well, it’s much the same today. However, I’m married to an avid golfer and many of my friends are on the links several times a month during the warmer months. Maybe I’ll get better through proximity osmosis (if that’s not a thing, it’s now); maybe not. My goal this summer was to get out there more and work on my game, but given I’ve been out there zero many times thus far, I’m not sure I’ll reach that goal.
Not being fully immersed in the game and all the accoutrements that’s needed to play a good game, when Father’s Day rolled around, I started looking up some great gifts for golfers. I came across some super fun, useful, themed golf gifts that I was excited to share with all of you! The thing is, unless your golfer is an established member of your home, it’s hard to know what they may already have or not have. While gift receipts usually take care of duplication, I’ve consulted with my resident golf expert on these golf gift ideas to confirm that many of these items are, indeed, unique. Hopefully, there are some new ideas for your favorite golf lover, and if so, it’s a win-win!
