Gift Ideas for Women That Have Everything
We all know her… that woman in our lives that seemingly has everything she ever wanted (and more) and when it comes time for birthdays and holiday gift giving, we rack our brains to come up with a gift that she not only does not have, but will surprise and delight her. Even if it’s someone who doesn’t “have everything”, I know I often struggle to come up with unique and pleasing gifts for some of the favorite women in my life.
Some of my friends and family are super easy to shop for and others I’m often stumped with coming up with something they might like (I’m not trying to say they are “picky” per say, but…). I have friends that are bookworms, play pickleball and majong, travel all the time for work and one in particular loves puzzles. It’s not hard to come up with something geared towards their interests like a reading book light, a cute bag to hold their pickleball gear or a portable majong set. But sometimes, I want to give something more unexpected, something that feels luxurious (even if it’s at a great price point) or give a gift that they normally wouldn’t think to buy for themselves.
Gifts For Her That Will Surprise & Delight
When in doubt, focus on three categories: experience, upgrade, and discovery.
An “experience gift” gives her a story to tell; a cooking class with a friend, a spa day, or a weekend getaway. It’s something she’ll remember far longer than another scented candle (though, to be fair, I don’t think any of us would ever turn down a really good one). An “upgrade gift” takes what she already loves and turns it up a notch; the artisan version of her favorite tea, a monogrammed tote for her daily errands, or a beautifully framed photo of people important to her. And a “discovery gift” introduces her to something new: a buzzy indie beauty brand, a stunning cookbook from a designer she follows, or a coffee-table book that sparks conversation. The magic is in showing that you see her for her: what she enjoys, what makes her pause, and what adds a little sparkle to her already full life.
Below are some of my favorites. Everyone’s budgets are different so I’ve tried to categorize ideas by price point. Whether she’s celebrating a big birthday, it’s your 20th Christmas together, or a new friend you want to show your love with a small little something, I hope you find something that fits the bill! I tried to curate a list that would fit all sorts of different interests, tastes, hobbies for your favorite partner, wife, sister, co-worker, friend, mother and anyone else in between! I also tried to steer clear of anything size-related as some women are sensitive about sharing their size.

Gifts for Her: Under $50
Le Pearl Candlewarmer Lamp
I am a huge personal fan of the candlewarmer lamp and have two myself. I have one in my office and one in our family room and I’ve gifted them four times now. (Do I need to scream my love the candlewarmer lamp any more??) This is a great gift as most people don’t know about them. They warm the candle filling the room with the scent without having to burn a live wick. The lamp itself creates a warm glow.
Salad Pod
If the woman you are shopping for is a big salad eater, this is such a clever and fun container to make a salad to take on the go. I love the idea of meal prepping my salads in a mason jar but often find by the time I get to the bottom – it gets very messy to stick your hand in the top of the jar. This cute pod is a leak-proof way to take your salad with you.
Hair Scarves
I just bought these for a secret santa gift for a friend that I don’t know well, but we do hang out from time-to-time. She is always so polished so I thought she would enjoy these beautiful fruit-themed hair scarves. They can also be used as a neck scarf, tied around a bag or a wrist as a bracelet. They come as a pack of two so you can even split them up!
Benevolence LA Velvet Jewelry Box
While I wouldn’t consider myself a woman who has everything, I’m not sure I’d buy a velvet jewelry box on a whim, but I would love to receive this as a gift! The price point is under $25 so you could even tuck in an expensive pair of earrings to go along with it to really make a cohesive gift.
L.L. Bean Boat and Tote
This is a classic! I have them in the medium and large and use them a ton. In fact, mine are 10 years old and have held up really really well. They come in small – XL, but if you want to stay under $50 go for the small, medium or large. The best part? You can get them monogrammed. As I said above, personalized gifts for the women who have everything are great gifts.
Watercolor WorkBook & Paints
Is she creative and likes crafting and trying new hobbies? This watercolor book is a great place for all beginners to start. It gives an image of the completed artwork and on the opposite page it has the blank space and instructions on how to duplicate. I have three of these and pick them up every once in a while when I’m feeling the need to scratch that creative itch. It’s also one of those “surprise and delight” gifts because it’s not something you see around in your average store.
JBL Portable Mini Bluetooth Speaker
Are you giving to a mom that takes a boatload of kids to the beach during the summer? A golfer? A gardener? Someone who loves to read a book on their deck or patio? There are so many places she can use a portable mini bluetooth speaker and they come in several really fun colors.
Woven Astrology Zip Pouch
Another one that is personal as you can buy her a pouch with her specific sign, these small pouches make for great for keeping make-up organized in a purse, chargers in a carry-on – the sky is the limit. They also have pouches that are specific to colleges if you’d rather go that route.
Tear Drop Chunky Earrings
Coming in at under $15, these tear drop chunky earrings are lookalikes to a more popular version that costs about $50 – $75. I have these and wear them all the time and they almost always get me compliments. If you need something inexpensive but love the idea of a quiet luxury gift, this is the pick for your favorite gal. I love these so much I even included them on my gift guide for a favorite things party.
Jo Malone London Wood Smoke
Jo Malone scents are the absolute best! I bought one to wear specifically for a trip to Hawaii (in which I got engaged) and everytime I wear it now it reminds instantly of that happy time and place. Scent is an amazing gift and way to connect to experiences and memories. This is an extremely popular scent with a fresh sea salt and sage scent – perfect for the colder months. Pair this with a nice small candle for the ultimate scented gift.
Nod Pod Sleep Mask
Have you ever used a weighted mask? This is like the same thing for your eyes. It’s like a big comforting hug for your head. A majority of users report feeling calmer after five minutes of use. This weighted sleep mask is known to help people fall asleep faster. I added it to my own list!
Gifts for Her: Under $100
Barbour Lady Lane Tartan Cuff Leather Gloves
You absolutely cannot go wrong with gifting a pair of leather gloves to any woman. Even if she owns a pair, I can’t think of any woman that wouldn’t welcome another pair, especially a pair with this beautiful tartan cuff that makes them so original and screams quiet luxury.
Bird Feeder with Camera
Another idea that a lot of people likely don’t have but even if they have one, who wouldn’t want a second one to watch the wildlife? I often have trouble thinking of gift ideas for my mother-in-law and we gifted this to her for her birthday and she was so surprised and pleased!
Fiona Beaded Bag
Talk about a unique gift that she is destined to love and covet, the Fiona beaded bags are such a fun way to delight. There are 14 different beaded designs. I’m partial to the one with sardines and the ones with martini glasses. Check them out! These are sure to solicit a smile from her upon opening.
Harry and David Gift Basket
You can never go wrong with some gourmet cheese and delicious wine. This is especially great if you need to direct ship a gift to someone. If you check out Harry and David they have endless options for gift baskets and you can even build your own if you are privy to the likes or dislikes of the recipient in terms of kinds of wine, cheeses and snacks.
Gifts For Her: Under $200
Hatch Restore Alarm Clock
Here me out on this one… while this may not be a glamorous gift, this is a fantastic alarm clock. Instead of a jarring alarm, the sunrise feature allows her to wake up gently and peacefully. It includes sleep ambiance (white noise). While you may not want to gift it for a friend since you can’t easily find out what alarm clock they use, if you have a mother, sister or wife you can peek to see what they use (or don’t use), this is a great gift option.
Book of the Month Subscription Box
If you have a bookworm on your hands, this monthly subscription box is bound to keep her looking forward to the mail each month. You can buy a one-year subscription for somoene for under $200. Every month she will have the option to choose from 5-7 selections. If she doesn’t like the selections, she can skip to use at a later date with different options. If anyone I know is reading this, bookmark this as something I’d like! 😉
FAQ’s
When someone seems to have it all, the best gifts are often experiential or personal. Think beyond material items and look for something that adds joy or meaning: a weekend getaway, a cooking class, a framed photo memory, or a subscription that brings small luxuries to her doorstep each month. It’s less about what she doesn’t have and more about what she’ll actually use or enjoy.
Add a layer of storytelling. Include a note explaining why you chose it, or pair it with a memory the two of you share. Personalization, whether it’s a monogram, a custom photo, or a favorite quote, instantly elevates even the simplest item into something she’ll treasure.
They can be, depending on the person. Experience gifts create memories that last far longer than a physical item might. From cooking or pottery classes to local spa days or virtual wine tastings, experiences feel indulgent and intentional. If you do go with a physical gift, think of something that complements her lifestyle (for example, a travel journal to go with a trip or gourmet spices for the home chef).
Try a mix of discovery and delight. That could mean a small-batch perfume she hasn’t heard of yet, a subscription box that introduces her to new indie brands, or a beautifully designed object for her home that doubles as décor. The key is giving her something she didn’t know she wanted, but can’t imagine living without once she opens it.
