When I began to decorate my home I was shocked by the cost of some mirrors – specifically any from a major brand or retailer. In lieu of dropping $700 on a mirror for our foyer, I started to look around in anitque shops and flea markets. As I did, I fell in love with the look of vintage mirrors. Yes – modern clean lines on a mirror are great and have their place in certain rooms, depending on the rest of the decor style. But a vintage mirror? They are so pretty, so elegant and just feel like so much more than your basic circle mirror.
I love the wall mirrors that look like they’ve been plucked from a Parisian flea market or inherited from your impossibly stylish great-aunt.
